Thoughts on Rainbow Rocks

Because apparently I didn't watch it in theaters like the last Equestria Girls movie. I was busy in my internship; that is before I quit and went back to being unemployed.

Anyways, I had my DVR scheduled to record the former HUB Network, which is now Discovery Family, for Rainbow Rocks. I was shopping with my mom, so I didn't had the time. When I got back, I watched the recording.

About half the way, I had my phone out to take notes of my current thoughts of Rainbow Rocks. Here they are:

The Dazzlers, or the Sirens, are beings that feed off the negative emotions from others to gain power. Their actions lead to their banishment by Starswirl the Bearded. They're banished to a world of no magic, the human world; which apparently is the world of Equestria Girls. Things change when Twilight came along and bring "Equestrian Magic" to the human world. With magic brought along, the Dazzlers sought this opportunity to regain their powers of feeding off negative emotions such as anger, hate, and discord. My thoughts: these girls remind me of Ares from the DC universe, where he's the Greek god of war who grows stronger every time there's carnage, warfare, and disorder in mankind; only to be stopped by Wonder Woman and the Justice League.

Ears, tails, and wings. The human Mane Six grow these whenever they sing or do Equestrian Magic. They made comments on it, but never on how weird it was. Personally, they look weird to me.

Sunset Shimmer. It's really sad to be her. She's trying what she can to make up from the last movie. So far, only the Mane Six accepted her. Everyone else, nope....until at the near-end of Rainbow Rocks.

Pinkie: being the my least favorite of the Mane Six, I still can't stand her. Both pony and EG.

Battle of the Band contestants: Snips & Snails....WHAT THE F-

Flash Sentry: Twilight was blushing the whole time whenever he's around. Cue the many rage from Twilight's many shippers. Apparently I'm one of the few shippers, being the founder of ShadowXTwilight, who is indifferent to Flash Sentry. I got many of things to rage over, and Flash Sentry isn't one of them.

Twilight Sparkle: being the bearer for the Magic of Friendship, she isn't really doing much to curb the infighting between the Mane Six.

Mane Six Infighting: infighting always leads to bad results, especially when the Sirens get stronger from their rage over trivial things as a band. It is only when Sunset Shimmer points it out that they stopped fighting. Huh? I wish I could do that, since my answer to infighting in general is...ummm....trying to be discreet here....not really ethical but it works.

Rainbow Dash: If Knuckles, unlike Sonic, don't chuckle; then Applejack, unlike Dash, don't...brag?...Anyways, Rainbow is being wayyy overboard as the lead singer in the early stages of the Battle. Though the song in the semifinals was mainly about her, that one was pretty cool.

Vinyl Scratch AKA DJ Pon3: She's very helpful in Rainbow Rocks, that is only at the near-end! I mean where was she before? It took Spike awhile to find someone who isn't affected by the Sirens' spell; apparently it's thanks to her headphones.

This isn't goodbye. It's just goodbye 'til next time: so says Twilight. Guess we'll be seeing more of Equestria Girls. Not that I mind since I'm enjoying their songs.

Post Credits: I had to google the ending of Rainbow Rocks...wow...I'll let you guys search it. I'm not spoiling it.
