How did I get myself into the shipping business?

This is something I would ask myself if it weren't for summer 2012, the season where I got into the Sonic MLP crossover solely thanks to Sondash. Before then, I probably wouldn't even dream of getting myself involved in these kinds of things even if they were my favorite franchise like One Piece and Sonic before MLP got added to the list.

I'm like 'who cares who's paired up with.' If Goku canonically goes for Chichi and not Bulma, what's the big deal? We wouldn't get Gohan if he goes for Bulma.Then again, the internet wasn't big when DBZ was, so there wasn't much ship wars then than it is now for different series. And that's the thing with the shipping process, it becomes canon and controversial. If the creator wants person A to go for person B, but the fans wanted A to go for person C, we get ship wars.

Another is that I either have terrible luck with a love life or not interested in a relationship, so that could be one way to put it since I was too preoccupied with politics and wars. Hence it created my disinterest before now.

The kinds of shipping I enjoy are crossover ones, especially with the Big Four (Tangled, HTTYD, Brave, RotG) + Frozen going on, particularly thanks to examples such as cosplays llento.woobi.co.kr/bbs/zboard.…
I like them because they may never officially happen due to different companies and franchise, but nonetheless they make more sense and so damn cute when they're well-drawn out by fanart, well-written by fanfics, or well-played through cosplay, videos, and other forms of media.
